Frank Nemeth

Obituary of Frank Nemeth

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Frank Nemeth announces the passing of our beloved father on March 08 2018.  Frank is survived by his two children Daren (Gracy) and Regina, grandchildren Amanda (Mike), Austen and great grandchild Levi and his brother Joe.  Our dear father lost his beloved wife Georgina of 49 years in 2014, the two were inseparable, a love only one can imagine, he truly never recovered from the loss of his wife. He was an amazing husband, father and best friend to anyone that knew him. Frank immigrated from Hungary with his family in 1954 and became a Canadian citizen shortly thereafter. Frank was well known in the automotive industry as one of the best body men around, he completed his Certificate of journeyman in motor vehicle body repair and never looked back, His entire career was in this industry, starting at Riggs auto, Dominion Motors, Star Auto body and for the next 30 years he worked at Superior Auto body as foreman doing everything he could to make sure you left with a smile, Frank was truly a people person and everyone seemed to know him. Frank was a family man like no other, always home early to get the camper ready for the lake, hauling his children and grandchildren around for whatever reason or activity they were involved in at the time, always taking care of anyone’s needs before his own. Franks greatest love was fishing, he loved to go fishing whether alone or with the guys to Flotten Lake or simply wherever someone invited him, rarely would he say no to go fishing. He later became involved in photography, this was a great passion he and his wife enjoyed together, spending countless hours travelling around Saskatchewan looking for that perfect shot. Frank also had a passion for making magnetic jewelry, it was a hobby he very much enjoyed, making and sharing with everyone. There will be a Celebration of Frank’s life, Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
