Obituary of Sandra Pizzey

Sandra Jean Pizzey (nee McLaughlin) 1949 -2017 Following a courageous battle with cancer, Sandy passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon on Sunday October 29, 2017 at age of 68. She was born in Neepawa Manitoba on September 11, 1949. Sandy was married to William (Keith) and enjoyed their time travelling in winter and summers at the “creek”. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching and reading, as well as the daily crossword puzzle and crypto-gram races with Keith. She is survived by her loving husband William (Keith), her children Larry (Krista) and Kim (Randy), Stepchildren Jacqui (Rob) and Warren; her grandchildren Keighlan, Rylan and Shayla, Chris and Wyatt, Jordan and Stephanie; and her brother Barry (Nellie). She was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Olive, and brothers Wayne and Doug. She will be sorely missed and always remembered as a fighter. The family is deeply grateful for the palliative care nurses who tended to her, and the peaceful, compassionate care offered by the nurses and physicians at the palliative care unit at St. Paul's Hospital.
