Obituary of Sharon Ann Landry

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sharon “Sam” Ann Landry on the morning of Monday, June 29th, 2015 at St Paul’s Palliative Care Unit, Saskatoon. Sam was born in Lafleche, Saskatchewan on April 23, 1944. She was predeceased by her husband, Art Landry and travelling buddy “Tuffy.” She is survived by her brother, Ron Mullin (Norma); niece, Holly Melvin (Scott); nephew, Mark Mullin (Georgia); great nephews, Reid and Evan Mullin; special daughter, Shannon Glover (Norman); brothers-in-law, Junior Landry (Shirley), David Landry (Babs); sister-in-law, Diane Shaw (John), and their families in Nova Scotia. A message from Sam: To ALL my friends and family…..THANK YOU for all your support in my recent struggles. Without this my girl Shannon would never have made it through this process. I LOVE you ALL. This is my obituary – you all know me well enough that is doesn’t have to be spelled out in the funny papers! A Celebration of Life will take place in the near future for family and close friends. The family would like to thank the staff on the palliative care unit for their exemplary care of Sam. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St Paul’s Palliative Care Unit (www.stpaulshospital.org).
