Obituary of Dionicio Florencio Ugo

His parents were Felix and Margarita Ugo. He was the youngest among four siblings. He dedicated his life to Jehovah God on June 24, 1967 and immediately started a pioneering career. He was married to Julita Vertido and had seven daughters: Sarah Jane, Esther Ruth, Florence Liz, Deborah Lynn, Joy Ann, Bethsaida, and Ada Aloha. All seven are baptized Jehovah’s Witnesses. Flor had spiritual privileges even at a young age. He became an elder and had served at a congregation where the need was greater. He served as substitute Circuit Overseer and was authorized to solemnize weddings. He also had the privilege to help in the translation of the Bible to lloko language as one of the proofreaders. In recent years, he and his wife joined the newly established Tagalog group here in Saskatoon which later became the Meewasin Valley Tagalog Congregation. He is the temporary Coordinator of the Body of Elders of said congregation until his demise.

Funeral

Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Queen Street.
