On Friday, August 18, 2023, Della Elsie Mysko (Henry), loving wife, and mother of three children, peacefully passed away at the age of 61 years old surrounded by her loved ones.
Della is survived by: her son, Dave (Staci) Mysko and their children, Ella, Nora, Seth, Cohen and Kayla; daughter, Trinity (Gilbert Blain) Noyce and her children, Samantha, Thomas and Paisley; son, Nick Mysko and his children, Alekzander and Aidan; mother-in-law, Theresa Mysko; siblings, Carol (Tim) Dyck, Fred Henry and in-laws; Blair (Barb) Mysko, Margeret (Louis) Chretien, Stephanie (Réal) Cossette; Theresa (Ron Burnouf) Stobbs; Catherine (Mark) Kaese and Don (Wendy) Mysko; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Della was predeceased by the love of her life husband Ron, her father and mother, Wilfred and Theresa Henry; father-in-law, Steven Mysko; her brother Eugene Henry; as well as brother and sister-in-laws.
Della was born on November 16, 1961, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Wilfred and Theresa Henry. She grew up in various communities in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Della met Ron in 1978 and they were married on August 11, 1979, in Prince Albert. Their three children David, Trinity and Nicholas were all born in Prince Albert. Della, Ron, and the family moved to the Lloydminster area in 1992 where the family attended Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship church, where they were involved in sports with the Lloydminster Bandits, Football with the LCHS Barons and numerous other community organizations. Della struggled through multiple health issues throughout her life yet always did her best to remain positive through the pain. She was originally successful in beating breast cancer in 2010. She also faced many surgeries on her knees having six knee replacements over the past 10 years. The past year and a half Della had undergone multiple procedures on her knees and was completing physio on her knees when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, bone cancer and lung cancer on June 20, 2023. Della started cancer treatments again in early July however, the cancer was too much for her to overcome this time. Della was moved to palliative care on July 27 in hopes to help get stronger, however Della never made it back to Lloydminster and she passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones from one breath in this world to her next breath in Heaven.
The Celebration of Life in memory of Della will be conducted from Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 10:30AM followed immediately by a light luncheon.
