It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, Dianne Koroll.
She is survived by her son Geoff, grandkids Sydney and Alyssa, daughter Christine (Greg) Loewen, grandkids Tyson and Jade; and son Brent (Bobbie), grandkids Justin and Olivia, her brothers Bill (Jackie), Ron (Elaine), Cliff (Lyanne) as well as many nieces and nephews, and her special friend Don. She was predeceased by her parents John and Irene, and her brother Bruce and sister Mary.
Dianne was born in Saskatoon at St. Paul’s Hospital on August 17
th
1949. She attended Princess Alexandra school and Bedford Road Collegiate. She took a business course and started working for the Saskatoon Public School Division. She stayed home to raise her family and then returned to work at various schools. She had a special experience working at the same school that Tyson and Jade attended. Nana made her grand exit at the same time as Jade left to move onto high school.
Nana’s happy place was at her family cabin at Jackfish Lake. She loved spending time with family and friends up there fishing, visiting, card playing and laughing over good drinks and good food. Mom was passionate about travelling and visited many places around the world. She loved spending time with Don, travelling together and spending time at various car runs. Nana will always be remembered by her bright smile and warm hugs. She lived life to the fullest, right up until the end of her brave battle against cancer. We would like to thank the staff at Glengarda Hospice for their excellent care. Mom requested in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the Cancer Society. The celebration of her life will take place Thursday October 28
th
from 1-4 p.m. as a come-and-go event, at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
