Erika Wald

Erika Jutta Wald Erika Wald (nee Jutta (Judy) Koppitsch) passed away peacefully on September 13, 2017 at the age of 67. Erika is survived by her son Ian (Angie); grandchildren Elizabeth and William, and brother Manfred (Frank). Erika is predeceased by her parents Eberhard and Hermine Koppitsch. Born in Berlin, Germany she moved to Regina with her parents at the age of 5. She lived and worked both in Regina and Saskatoon until 1982, when she settled permanently in Saskatoon. She worked at both the Saskatoon Public School Division and Saskatchewan Polytechnic as a library technician. Erika always harboured a passion for nature and all living things, most of all her trio of felines - Freddy, Bobby, and Sparkles. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to the Saskatoon SPCA or SCAT Street Cat Rescue are greatly appreciated.
