1943 – 2020

Evelyn Bender, age 77, passed away on September 9, 2020. Evelyn is survived by her husband Mike Bender, daughter Norma McGinnis, son Ted McGinnis, sisters Rita Fiddler and Maryrose Boroughs, grandchildren Daniel Buekert, Angela Buekert, Cheryl Beaton, Ryan McGinnis and Tyler. Great grandchildren Carson Buchan and Isaac Buekert. She is predeceased by her first husband, Ted McGinnis, parents Laura and Gedeon Ricard, brothers Leo Ricard, Adrian Ricard, Fred Ricard, Louis Ricard and Joseph Ricard and sister Helen Aultman. Evelyn was born on July 28, 1943 in Fort Pitt Sask. She grew up in that area and went to school at St Walburg. Her working years were spend mostly in the janitorial industry. She spend the last forty years with her second husband Mike Bender. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, knitting, working on crossword puzzles and Ninendo. She also enjoyed family get togethers such as birthdays and Christmas. Private service for Evelyn will be held at a later date.
