Germaine Booth

July 2, 1949 — December 6, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Germaine Booth, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on December 6, 2024, at the young age of 75. Born on July 2, 1949, to Claudia and Joseph Therien, Germaine was a beacon of love, strength, and humility whose life touched countless hearts. She was an intelligent, professional, and hardworking bookkeeper who provided thousands of hours of expertise to her clients over a career spanning more than 30 years. When she wasn't at her desk, she loved to ride behind Garry on his GoldWing, traveling many miles and creating countless memories all over North America. When Garry was trucking, Germaine also enjoyed taking the odd road trip to see the sights this way as well. She loved being included in all things related to her kids and grandkids and lived to spend quality time and make memories with them.

Germaine is lovingly survived by her two children: Jacqui Fleury (Dan) and Kelly (Sharilee) Booth; her four cherished grandchildren: Mackenzie (Richelle), Maya, Keala, and Parker (Santa); and her four siblings: Bob Therien, Marcel (Hazel) Therien, Gabrielle (Wally) Singleton, and Madeline Therien. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, Claudia and Joseph Therien; her brother-in-law, Claude Neal; her granddaughter, Emily, on November 2, 1997; her beloved husband, Garry Booth, on October 10, 2022; her son-in-law, Verne, on September 11, 2020; and two nieces, Rene Therien and Christine Therien and her sister Vivianne Neal on October 14, 2024.

A celebration of Germaine's life will be held in May 2025 in Limerik, SK with details to follow.

Her family and friends will forever remember her unconditional love, her unwavering support, and her radiant presence that could light up any room. Germaine's legacy of love and resilience lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
