Lottie Pauline Sara Seifert (née Murray)
November 4, 1933 – May 15, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and nana after a sudden illness. She went to heaven to be with her husband John and eldest daughter Shirley (Rob Johnston), her parents Fred and Angeline Murray, and her siblings and in-laws that preceded her. Lottie is survived by her children Ron, Blair, Dellene Rodgers (Lloyd), & Bev Matthies Wiens (Gary). Lottie reveled in being with her grandchildren; Robert Johnston (Danielle), Amanda Thick (Cam), Carl Buchamer, Candy Seifert (Brian) Krista Cora Castillo, Eric Buchamer, Cass Mireau (Dave), Michael Johnston (Shay), Katie Davies (Rees) and Tami Waldron (Mike). Her great-grandchildren were the lights of her life; Xandrea, Ta’Lyia, Kaleb, Ella, Noah, Ryan, Avery, Maddie, Archer & soon to be born, Baby Waldron. Lottie was born and raised on the family farm in Southern Saskatchewan. Through her father’s workplace she met her husband of more than 50 years. In early 2018, after 57 years in the same house, mom took the huge step to move to Saskatoon to be closer to family. Unfortunately her time in Saskatoon was far too short. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has occurred. A celebration of a life well lived will be arranged in July 2018, when family and friends can gather. Interment will follow at Disley, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kinsmen Telemiracle.
