Lucille Evelyn Mcdonald

1930 — April 29, 2020

McDonald, Lucille Evelyn (nee Driver)

November 15, 1930-April 29, 2020

Lucille passed away peacefully with family at her side at Porteous Lodge leaving special memories for Daughter: Joanne Kerr (Jim), Sons: Jim (Jamie) Kasity and Kade; Dan (Kelly) Liam and Brendan; Mike (Regan) Madison; Dale (Tammy) Mae, Max and Ruby; Great Granddaughter Layne.  She was Predeceased by her husband Joseph, brother William Driver, sisters Mabel Mitchell, and June Driver.  Lucille loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was a fearless competitor enjoying all sports, basketball, golf, curling, swimming and especially sports her children and grandchildren participated in: equestrian, thoroughbred racing, rodeos, baseball and speed swimming. She was their biggest fan! Lucille loved playing cards and especially bridge. She was also a very talented seamstress, and an amazing knitter. Lucille’s greatest achievement was raising 5 children and 8 grandkids! But she was also very well respected by her business peers within the Federal Government where she worked in HR for 25 years. Lucille would be best described as a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, a true friend to many and a great example to all. She will be remembered for her sharp wit, great sense of humour, warm smile and her willingness to help everyone.

You gave it your all!

Well Done!

Rest In Peace!
