Philip Kondra

January 3, 1980 — November 6, 2024

The family of Philip Jay Kondra are sad to announce the accidental passing of "P.J"

He was born on January 3, 1980 and raised in Saskatoon. He attended St. Dominic School for elementary and Graduated from E.D. Feehan High School.

His sudden passing at the age of 44 has not only affected his family and his friends, but also his fellow workers.

People were drawn to P.J. by his magnetic personality. His friends no matter their age were made to feel special. He met any challenge as an opportunity to live his dreams; whether it was Ukrainian Dancing as a youth, racing jet skis with his brother and friends, or being recognised as "Rookie of The Year" in four different classes at the stock car tracks.

He loved to work with wood and impressed his customers with skills in cutting and grooming their trees. On the family farm he took great pride in caring for the lawn and the effort he spent grooming the lawn and trees drew his friends and family to visit and spend time with him there.

P.J. was never too busy to stop what he was doing to help his family and friends with whatever they needed. He lived for his friends and family, and whenever he promised to help, he did, but all that knew him and could depend on him learned that he would always be "late".

For those that P.J. cooked for, be it on the farm or in Phoenix, where he went on annual motor cycle trips, knew he had a knack of preparing meals that they always enjoyed. He had no formal training so he cooked with his taste buds.

P.J. loved to hunt and his greatest pleasure was making deer sausage. He was the only one to prepare a Thai Special Sausage that wasn't only unique but was always welcomed.

P.J. was predeceased by his grandfather John Kondra, His Baba Rose Kondra, His Gido Mike Hnatiw, and Baba Carrie Hnatiw.

He is survived by his brother Parish, his sister Karmela, his Parents Gene and Irene Kondra as well as his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Gone to soon but he will always be fondly remembered.
