It is with both shock and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Rick Plotzki. Rick was born in Colonsay, Saskatchewan to Emil and Irene Plotzki, and was the first of five children: Connie, Terry, Mark, and Tracy. He spent his formative years around Colonsay,
eventually attending Kelsey/SIAST in Moose Jaw, where he earned his diploma in instrumentation. His choice in education set him on a career path which would take him
around the world to jobs in Peru, Indonesia, USA, Chile, Brazil, and countless other countries along the way. Most of all, Rick loved spending time with family, be it going on a trip, doing chores around the acreage, engaging in a heated game of Scrabble or Kaiser, cooking, or simply falling asleep on the couch while watching a movie with a dog curled up around him. He was always happiest passing time with those he loved. He is survived by his
loving wife Sandra, his two sons Terrell (Jenny) and Dale, and his Mom and siblings. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Gibson’s Wildlife Rehab Center http://www.gibsonswildliferehabcentre.org.
