Wayne Groff

Surrounded by his loved ones, Wayne left this world on August 30, 2024, at age 71, in Saskatoon, SK. His passing marked the end of a remarkable life dedicated to learning, creativity, and family.

Wayne was born in Theodore, SK, and moved to Saskatoon in 1969 to attend university. Teresa, the love of his life, joined him in 1970, and their daughter, Christien, was born in 1971. Wayne dedicated many years to working at the Mendel Art Gallery while also completing an Industrial Electronics Technology diploma at SIAST. Throughout his life, he pursued knowledge in diverse fields such as politics, philosophy, architecture, mathematics, and physical science. His passions also included music and design. Wayne treasured spending time with his wife, daughter, son-in-law Ray, and his grandchildren, Terava, her partner Dean, Eiza, and Aerlin. He also valued spending time with his siblings, extended family, and friends.

The family invites you to join them for Wayne's Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Edwards Family Centre, 333 4th Ave. North in Saskatoon. The program will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by light refreshments and an opportunity for everyone to gather, share memories, and honour Wayne. For those attending, courtesy parking is available across the street at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
