Memories
Dear Aunty Kate, we have so many memories of you, tucked away in our hearts. Memories of visits from you and the boys at Stony Lake, the farm at Egg lake, Big River and in BC after we moved to Clinton and then Kamloops. The surprise parties, first cousin reunions, weddings, funerals, and always family visits. You have been a part of our lives since we were born. The bond between twins is a unique and lifelong connection that can never be broken and you and Mother had that. Time and distance sometimes stretch the boundaries of relationships and visits may not be as frequent but the love and understanding of each other remains.
We remember you and your joy in living, laughing and loving. The mischievous look in your eyes, the quirk of your mouth just before you would break into laughter. The caring and kindness you gave to all of those you loved. We were truly blessed to have you in our lives. We love honour, respect, and admire you for how you lived and shared your life. You will always be with us in our hearts and in our minds.
Our deepest sympathy, love and support to Ray, Stan, Eddie(Butchie) and their families.
Niece Mazie, Great niece Heather and Great Nephew Kevin

Hearing the news of my beautiful great aunt passing brings about many memories. She was deeply loved and admired for her love, generosity and kindness. She and my gram were the sweetest twins and loved each other dearly even through their differences. Aunty Kate was the "city mouse and my gram the country mouse", she would enjoy being teased about that. She was always welcomed into our family homes and we enjoyed a visit with her when she would make the trek to BC.
Her life ends in part with my gram's life, as their lives were joined coming into this world as a loved package. Now, we will remember them both as we celebrate who they were as people and that they were surrounded by much love especially by their children and grandchildren.
Our deepest sympathies to her family and friends,
Love Kim and all our extended family.

It is with heartfelt sadness that I receive the news of my mother Mary's twin sister, Kate. The twins were born on February 19, 1919 in Biggar, Saskatchewan to Steve and Sarah Davidenko. Auntie Kate had such a wonderful sense of humour and always enjoyed a good laugh. She enjoyed cooking and I will always remember the delicious Ukrainian dishes she would make and share. Kate will be lovingly remembered by her twin sister's family.
With sincere sympathy,
Joan and family
