Obituary of Nancy Elizabeth Quinn

Nancy Elizabeth Quinn passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on Friday, March 29, 2019. Nancy was born in Midland, Ont. and made her way out west in 1956 where she worked for the Bank of Montreal for 35 years. Mom also worked at Marcus Downs Race Track in the bank and volunteered at the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation for many years. After retirement mom volunteered at the R.U.H. gift shop and also was a member of the Riverside Optimist Club. Mom loved the outdoors, the lakes, golf, gardening, sports, and sitting with friends and family by the fire. Mom’s life is cherished and celebrated by her daughter Brenda; son David (Jane); grandsons Brandon, Ryan, and Sheldon; sister Helen Main; along with many nieces and nephews. Nancy is predeceased by her parents and brother Doug White. Mom’s passing will be mourned by all who shared her love, friendship, and joy for living. We celebrate her zestful life as an exemplary mother, grandmother and friend. A service will be held at McClure United Church (4025 Taylor St. E.) on Monday, April 8th, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Nancy’s name to Ronald McDonald House or to the charity of ones choice.
