Obituary of Fern Diane Wagner

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Wagner on July 25, 2023 at the age of 81.  She leaves behind her husband Edgar (Ed) after 61 years of marriage, her brother John (Sandra)Thompson and many relatives and friends. Fern was raised on a farm near LeRoy, Saskatchewan and she was predeceased by her parents Alvin and Rachel Thompson,  and her sisters Aletha Stein, Mary Lou Braitenbach, Mona Boseke and Verna Boseke. Fern was gifted in many ways. Her passion over the years was quilting and then stitchery in various forms. One of the many ways she will be remembered by family and friends will be the beautiful hand stitched pictures hanging on their walls. Another will be the bookmarks and mug rugs that she spent so many hours on before giving them away. At Fern’s request there will be no funeral service.
