Obituary of Ella Marie Yvonne Korol

Ella Korol

Ella was born September 24, 1937 in Melfort, Saskatchewan. 

As an only child, she grew up in Gronlid, Saskatchewan with her parents, Lena and Paul.  Upon completing her Grade 12, she moved to Saskatoon and worked as a secretary at a law office.  She also worked at Auto Clearing. 

In 1956, she met her future husband, Mike, at a Halloween mascaraed party.  They married in 1958.  In 1960, Myron was born and in 1965, Elaine came along.  Granddaughter, Alesi was born in 1996 and Keara in 1998.  Ella was very proud of their accomplishments in life.

Ella Korol, age 86, passed away December 29, 2023 from a stroke.  She left behind a loving husband, Mike of 65 years; daughter, Elaine (Kerry); granddaughters, Alesi and Keara; and son, Myron (Lisa).

She enjoyed gardening, camping and foreign travel to many countries.  She sold Avon for 47 years and maintained many close relationships. 

We are grateful for the wonderful life we had with her.

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup
4 tsp corn starch
2 eggs
a few drops lemon juice
1 tsp of vanilla
Makes 24 tarts
Bake 20 min at 325°F
