Obituary of Donald Francis Kraus

Donald Kraus passed away on October 10, 2017 in St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 77. Donald was predeceased by his parents Albert and Margaret Kraus. He is survived by his 4 children; Wanda (Stuart) Cox, Barb (Clint) Stack, Rick Kraus, and Randy (Lynn) Kraus. Brothers Bill (Faye) Kraus, Alvin (Bonnie) Kraus and sister Carol (Gerald) Kingwell. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, Amy (Jeff) Cox, Tanner (Jade) Cox, Chad Cox, Bryce Cox, Jordan Spahr, Elijah Waldner, Jesslyn Kraus and great grandson Leo Cox as well as many nieces and nephews. Don retired as a Captain in 1998 from the Saskatoon Fire Department after 35 years of service. He spent his retirement on his farm near Langham where he enjoyed the peace and quiet of the country life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald’s memory can be made to the Saskatchewan Lung Association.
