Lori (Dean) and their children James, Travis, his daughter Anika; Chris (Sarah) and their children Mikaya and Rylan. Bonnie (Harvey) and their many four-legged friends. His siblings Shirley (Merle), Darlene (Ken) and Leroy (Madeline). His brother in-law Bob (Jo) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Vern was predeceased by both his and Mary’s parents and grandparents; brother in-laws Merle and Bob; son in-laws Allen and Dean; and his beloved grandson Greg. Vern was born to Albert and Hazel (Ullman) Norrington on November 28, 1929 in Moose Jaw, SK. and was raised on his grandparent’s farm south of Bradwell. In 1951 Vern moved to Bradwell to work for Buck Baldwin; this is where he first met Mary. They were married August 20, 1954 and raised their family in and around Bradwell. In 2013 they sold their home in Bradwell and moved to Saskatoon. In August 2014, Vern and Mary celebrated their 60th alongside all their family and close friends. Vern served on many committees including the Wheat Board, Admore Co-op and Village Council. Vern enjoyed farming and tinkering around in one of his many sheds. In the later years when Vern no longer farmed, he always made a trip or two out to the field to check on the harvest and have a dinner or two in the field with his family. He loved his morning coffee get-togethers, often having heated discussions about Fords, Chevs and politics. Vern will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
