Dear Nancy, Lynne, Bruce and families,
Thank you for organizing such a special tribute to Ennis this week. It was wonderful to have so many of her family present and to hear and see greetings from those that could not attend. The beautiful photographs of her life were so special. It was also lovely to see the many honours that Ennis so deservedly received on display.
I owe Ennis my career. She was on my hiring panel when I was hired as a 24-year old to lead the Canadian Red Cross Water Safety Services in Saskatchewan and I have been connected with her ever since.
She has been a leader and a mentor to thousands of people in so many areas that she was involved with. Her legacy is enormous. Thank you for sharing her with us.
Sincerely,
Leslie Dunning

We are sorry to read of your Mom's passing. Brian really appreciated all her help in teaching him to swim. It has became a lifelong passion of his. We know how much she loved to come to LBL. She will be missed by your family.

God just got one of his best back. I'm truly heart broken for everyone grieving her loss. From all the really amazing stories Ennis shared with me... she led an incredible life, with a fairytale love story. Although I am sad that she is missing from earth, I am happy for her to be back with her soulmate and her son. I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to have known this wonderful, loving, and humble lady. I am also so very grateful for all the support and company she offered myself and my children, her great grandchdren. Words cannot thank her enough for everything she offered while she was lent to us all. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family and friends. I pray God gives you peace and healing during this difficult time ❤. Truly sorry for your loss.

Having the opportunity to meet and get to know Ennis, if only a little, was one of the great privileges of my time working with the Canadian Red Cross. I loved spending time with her, listening to her stories, and laughing together. Such intelligence, warmth, kindness, generosity of spirit, and humour, I am so very glad to have known her and am so very sorry for your loss. My warmest wishes to all of Ennis's family.
