Obituary of Donna Diane Balon

It is with sadness that the family announces that the death of Donna Balon occurred at her residence in Saskatoon on Sunday, July 31, 2016. Donna was born on September 1, 1953 in North Battleford Saskatchewan to parents James and Mary Small. She went to school in Blaine Lake. She ran her cleaning business to her final days. She loved making lamps getting her name Lamplady. Donna was predeceased by her parents and brother and is survived by husband Metro, her son Aaron, sister Marianne (Richard) Baron, brother Jimmy Small, sister Shirley Small, as well as her half sisters and brothers Susanne Kostiuk, Joanne Zameruk, Vic Kostiuk, Ed (Sharon) Kostiuk and numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to all the Care Aids and Nurses as well as very special friends Venkat and Usha for all the devoted loving care they provided to Donna. They also acknowledge and thank all Donna's special friends who made her life complete and travelled beside her on her journey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
