Larry Roach

Obituary of Larry Roach

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Larry Roach. He died peacefully of natural causes at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon with his loving wife, Sandi, by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Lorne and Bernice Roach.
Larry leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Sandi; sister, Gina Roach (Ritchie Youst) and brother, Gerry Roach; nephews, Brock Youst (Jade) and Tyson Youst; nieces, Janelle Youst and Tori Roach; great nephew, Matthew Youst; and uncle and aunt, Neil and Irene Wouters.  Larry grew up in the small community of Maymont.  He was well respected in business circles and for over 40 years had a close circle of friends who were loyal and who came to mean even more to him after his accident in 2018. Time with family and friends was very important to him.  He could tell a joke or share a story that would make people laugh until they cried.  He maintained an avid interest in cars, curling and history and was a keen reader and learner. The family extends thanks to the staff of St. Paul’s Hospital who showed kindness and caring in his last days, as well as to Saskatoon Home Care and Bayshore Home Health who provided dignified, nurturing service that helped Larry remain positive and engaged in life over the past two years. A celebration of his life will be planned at a later date for friends and family.  Cards or messages may be sent to Prairie View Chapel and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatoon Salvation Army or St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation.
