Obituary of Richard Glen Braun

Richard "Rick" Braun
January 26, 1956 - September 17, 2021

Rick passed away peacefully in his sleep at Royal University Hospital at the age of 65 years, following declining health. His final days were spent at RUH in comfort care, with his children constantly by his side.  His extended family were also lined up to offer their comfort and emotional support to Rick during his most difficult time on this earth.

Rick is survived by his son Simon, his daughter Michelle (Tyler), and granddaughter Callie; brothers Dale and Curtis (Shelly), and by his many special nieces and nephews who always enjoyed the company of Uncle Rick. Rick was predeceased by his parents Sarah and Aron, and siblings Art, Leonard, Emilie & Diana. 

Our family would like to thank the entire medical staff and counsellors at RUH for their compassion and care during this past week. We ask that in lieu of flowers, you do something kind for a health care worker. They are all angels, even under the worst circumstances, and they deserve our highest respect.
