1976 – 2021

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Charles Kirk Vanghel on Monday, November 1, 2021 in Saskatoon, Sk. after a battle with a long term illness. The illness shortened his life but not his fighting spirit. He fought hard until his last breath.

Charlie (Chuck) was born in Royal University Hospital on January 23rd ,1976. His early years were spent in Davidson, Sk. and the family farm. Charlie attended elementary school in Saskatoon. School wasn’t his thing so he went to work at various jobs throughout his life. Mechanics was his true passion. He could rebuild engines with no formal training.

Charlie leaves behind his parents Fred and Jenifer Vanghel (Ma and Pa), brothers Miles (Brandy) and Yancy, son Dominic, daughters Lacey, Jaelyn and Satara, nieces and nephews Brittnai, Danny, Ethan, Autumn, Xander, Mira and Gillian and loving dog Lucy.

You are free of this world now. No more pain or worries. You lived life on your terms and you went out the same way, Fighting. Save us a seat at the table in Valhalla.
