EDWARD KOSTYNIUK
APRIL 1, 1937 – APRIL 16, 2022
Passed away peacefully with his loving wife, Pauline by his side. Survived by his two son’s, Kenneth (Tracey), Kelly (Wendy), and daughter Katherine (David). Ed enjoyed his 5 grandchildren – Ashley, Katlin (Jordan), Kristine (Stewart), Kolby (Teri), Brandon and one great grandchild, Dexter.
Ed Loved dancing. He met the love of his life at Pauline’s sister’s wedding in 1959. He was an original wedding crasher along with his cousin Bill. Pauline and Ed danced a few Polkas together and Ed’s pursuit of Pauline began. They married May 25th, 1963.
Gido loved camping, fishing, golfing and barbecuing. He enjoyed a good card game with friends and family. He was very proud of his yard work. He was always outside puttering away. He was always ready to lend a hand when you needed it. Building a fence, garage or laying cement down for a sidewalk.
At relax time, he enjoyed a beverage (Caesar), a snack (Sausage, Cheese and Pickles) and a good hockey game, ballgame or watching curling.
He will be sadly missed by all. Ed will be Laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
