Obituary of Stephen Paul Benson

Stephen Benson passed away on October 1st, 2022 at the age of 68, in his hometown of Saskatoon, SK. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Steve came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. 
Stephen was born in Germany where his father was stationed with the British armed forces. He moved with his family to Canada in 1967. After graduation, he spent time himself in the armed forces and later in the entertainment industry. Many will remember his great voice and wicked sense of humour. 
In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his sisters, Bobbie and Maureen. He is survived by sisters, Kathleen and Kim; and brother, Michael. He leaves behind his daughter, Taylor; his sons, Ryley and Zachary; as well as two grandchildren, Aubree and Kade. There are several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends that will miss him dearly. 
At Stephen’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, he requested a private interment at a later date.
