Duane Telford

1951-2023

    With heavy hearts, the family of Duane Telford announces his passing, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, after a lengthy illness.  

    Always a farmer at heart, Duane stayed in touch with his roots, even though he made his home with his life-long sweetheart, Sharon, in Saskatoon.  

    He leaves behind, his partner, Sharon Gilroyed, and her family, his sisters, Lynn (Victor) Moroz, and Loretta (Joseph) Torre, and their families, as well as numerous cousins from the Carragana area and beyond.  He was pre-deceased by his parents, Orville and Barbara Telford, and his little sister, Lorraine Telford in 1974. 

    While there will be no formal service, it is hoped that his buddies and family will gather together and swap stories.  If you listen, you can hear Duane chuckling about that already.  A family memorial service may be held sometime in the future.
