Paul Desjarlais was a proud Metis man, and would go to any meetings he was able to attend.
Paul was a man with a big heart, he would make sandwiches for the homeless people, and would carry change, so whoever asked, he would give them some.
He loved giving, and would always give gifts to some of his family and friends.
Paul loved taking pictures of family and friends, he was always ready with camera in hand, so you can be sure, he got some snaps of you, whether you knew it or not. ☺
He enjoyed country music, and his favorite singer was George Strait.
The greatest love in his life, was his daughter, Amy Sloboda. Just the mention of her name and his eyes would brighten up, you can see the joy, Amy brought into his life.
Paul was predeceased by his parents: Rose and Urban Desjarlais; brothers: Charlie Desjarlais; Kenny Desjarlais; Edward Desjarlais; Ervin Desjarlais; and Louis Desjarlais.
Paul leaves behind:

His Sisters; Yvonne (Ira)Simpson; Cecilia Olfert; Barbara (Randal) Card. Brothers; Ernest Desjarlais; Joseph (Helen) Desjarlais; Alwin Desjarlais; Andy Desjarlais and Richard Desjarlais.
Many Nieces and Nephews and honorary grandchildren.
