Chester was born to Oscar and Anna on March 27, 1939 in Pleasantdale, SK where he spent his childhood and school age years.
At the young age of 19, Chester became employed in Saskatoon and was very dedicated to the art of flour milling in his position as shift miller with CSP Foods and the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool until his retirement in 1994.
Chester married Marlene on April 29, 1995. Together they enjoyed many happy times, farming in Pleasantdale during the summers as well as travelling, camping, and fishing with family and friends.
Chester always enjoyed visiting with his CSP Foods colleagues on coffee row, sharing stories and laughs.
Chester and Marlene shared a very special romantic and loving relationship. Marlene lovingly cared for him during the last few months of his declining health and stayed by his side until his peaceful passing.
Special thanks to Holly Darmokid, Colleen Munroe and Charlotte Fitzpatrick for their care and support to Chester and Marlene for the last several months at their home.
A private family burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
